Hey!
My name is Alayna Frank and I’ve been a freelance photographer since 2023. I graduated Millersville University in 2024 with a degree in Art, where I had fallen in love with creating my own narrative scenes through photography. I love to tell a story, whether that is through a world built out of a concept created on my own, or telling the stories of the clients I work with in capturing their special moments forever.
As a long-time participant of theatrics and the arts, using photography as my medium to direct these stories is the most rewarding challenge- I love gathering all of my creative actor friends and asking them to play characters in the sets I create. When I have a larger-than-life concept I always source my own props, lighting, special effects and costumes to make a dream concept come to life.
I also love creating mixed media pieces as well! The photo above, titled “The Dinner Party”, was a project of mine where I had sourced and created every piece of the set myself (mixed my own fake blood, created my own special effects, and made every piece of food on the table by hand) then took the raw photo and hand drew on top of the image in a digital format afterward, creating a painting-like final image.
I could only achieve what I have with the unwavering support from all my creative friends who would go along with just about any crazy idea I have, so there will always be more to come thanks to them!
